Hosokawa Micron's powder processing technologies are very suitable for the production of Soil Conditioners or Fertilizers, more specifically, for the mixing of TriCalcium Phosphate (TCP) or DiCalcium Phosphate (DCP) with phosphoric acid. The value of the end product relies on the ratio of TCP or DCP to phosphoric acid, making it an essential consideration for this production process.

The Flexomix agglomeration system is ideal for mixing TCP or DCP with phosphoric acid in the correct ratio. The product processed in the Flexomix is reactive and wet. A certain dwell time is required until the reaction is complete. After the reaction is complete, it is advisable to use a fluid bed dryer to evaporate the excess water and to dry the product.

This means you can optimize the conversion ratio for the highest possible product value. The final result are free-flowing agglomerates which are easy to handle during further processing, or ideal for selling straight to the consumer.
