JAPANESE AMBASSADOR VISITS HOSOKAWA MICRON B.V.

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, the Japanese Ambassador to the Netherlands, Mr. MINAMI Hiroshi, visited Hosokawa Micron B.V. in Doetinchem. The ambassador was accompanied by his first secretary and a delegation from Oost NL, a public-private partnership that provides support to businesses in the Gelderland and Overijssel provinces. The purpose of the ambassador's visit was to gain a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing industry in the eastern part of the Netherlands.

The visitors were warmly received by Christophe Krug, Managing Director, and Berthram Mak, Sales & Marketing Manager. The itinerary encompassed a presentation on the company's activities followed by a guided tour of its facilities.

The discussions during the visit spanned a range of critical topics including innovation, advancements in alternative proteins and energy transition, and the pivotal role of Hosokawa's process solutions therein. The strategic significance of Hosokawa's location in the east of the Netherlands and its collaborative efforts with Oost NL were also underscored.

As an industry frontrunner in the fields of powder mixing, drying, and agglomeration, Hosokawa Micron's process solutions find applications across diverse sectors, including chemicals, minerals, metals, food, animal feed, cosmetics, nuclear, pharmaceuticals, and plastics.

The visit of Ambassador Minami to Hosokawa Micron B.V. not only fostered international collaboration but also highlighted the pivotal role of innovation and cooperation in shaping the future of industries.
