BRANDS

VRIECO

The historical brand name Vrieco comes from the 'Machinefabriek Vrieco' company, which originated from the forge of J.W. de Vries in the 1930s. After world war II, De Vries found that his forge had insufficient future as it was. His contacts with millers contributed to the development from forge to a mechanical workshop. The name stood for 'De Vries Constructies'. Vrieco specialized in mixing machines and conveyors for powdered products. In 1964 Vrieco settled on the industrial estate of Zelhem, the Netherlands.

In 1983 the company was acquired by the Hosokawa Micron Group.
